Einladung “Das Erste Jahr”, Werkstatt Künstlerische Lithographie, Berlin
Very close to my apartment is the Werkstatt Künstlerische Lithographie Berlin. For nearly one year I passed the building on a daily basis on my way to the S-Bahn or shops. Again and again I thought about what works of art might be created in these rooms. In spring 2016 I took heart and asked. The artists I met were very friendly. I was even able to arrange an appointment for a gravure course – and I was blissfully happy, because I had etchings and aquatint on my agenda for years. For one year I worked intensively on this exhibition “THE FIRST YEAR” – and now almost twenty pieces can be seen – my etchings & aquatint. In the Werkstatt Künstlerische Lithographie – at the very place where they were created. I am particularly pleased about that. The opening will take place on 23 February 2018 at 7 pm. The exhibition runs until 21.04.2018.
